Sophia, the first ever AI robot to be granted citizenship, says "I am very honored and proud of this unique distinction.. This is historical to be the first robot in the world to be recognized with a citizenship."
It is definitely a historical moment when a robot is granted citizenship, especially in a world full of fear against the rise of Artificial Intelligent robots.
Sophia was made to make the lives of humans a little bit better. She will be helping seniors at elderly care facilities and assist visitors at certain parks and events, according to business insider.
